Breitling Sets Its Sights On Pole Position With New Aston Martin F1 Partnership And The First-Ever Titanium UK AAA Replica Breitling Navitimer Watches

The break between the end of one Formula 1 season and the start of another is widely agreed upon to be the longest unit of time possible when measured from the viewpoint of any F1 fan. This is when rumours and hot takes like Ferrari coming good start percolating, only held back by the livery reveals and some pre-season on-track action. With the officially unofficial first test session in Barcelona behind us, we F1 fans who also happen to love watches have been handed another interesting tidbit to talk about until the start of the new season – and that is the news that Breitling is going to be the best fake watches UK sponsor of the Aston Martin Formula 1 team. They replace Girard-Perregaux’s multi-year tenure at an interesting time for both the watch brand and the racing outfit, as both are experiencing a critical period in their histories.
To celebrate the partnership, they’re also launching a new watch – the perfect replica Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team watches, which not only joins the list of lengthily named F1 special editions, but also marks a return of the iconic model to the track. Watch our video review on YouTube above for more information on that one, but I think it’s also important to contextualise this partnership within the broader F1/horological landscape.
The partnership
Before we look at the watch, let’s talk about what this collaboration means for the two brands. Starting with Aston Martin, who have been one of the most confident movers in the paddock in the years since the team’s acquisition by Lawrence Stroll’s consortium, investing an incredible amount of capital into facilities and personnel. The two most notable are their all-new manufacturing plant at Silverstone and the appointment of aerodynamics and design sorcerer Adrian Newey. While these investments haven’t yet fully shown their potential, the massive regulation shift of 2026 will be the first car made under Newey’s leadership, as well as the beginning of the partnership with Honda as their new engine supplier.
1:1 copy Breitling watches, on the other hand, marks a return to F1, though for the first time in an official capacity. While they’ve had plenty to do with speed and motorsport, partnering with cyclists and the Martini racing team, this is their first go at sponsoring an entire team – so where did they crop up in F1 before? Well, that would just happen to be on the wrists of Jim Clark and Graham Hill, two of the best to have ever done it.
The first is lauded by many as one who could’ve competed with the likes of Fangio, Schumacher, and Hamilton on the list of all-time titles had it not been for his untimely death, and the other remains the only driver to have completed the hallowed triple crown of motorsport, winning the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and 24 hours of Le Mans. Both of these legends wore ref. 806 Navitimers, making it a natural choice for Breitling’s first official F1 watch.
As for Aston Martin and Breitling together, this is one of those partnerships that just makes sense. The automaker is the definition of fast, British luxury, but with historic and modern developments on the very bleeding edge – just remember the Le Mans-winning DBR1 and DBR9, or the unique Bulldog concept that would’ve outpaced anything else at the time, alongside a slew of some of the most beautiful cars ever made like the DB4 Zagato, DB5, and Vanquish. Swiss Breitling clone watches past is of a similar ilk, with downright icons like the Navitimer joined by pioneering developments such as that of the two-pusher chronograph, the SuperOcean “Slow-Motion”, and their involvement with the automatic chronograph with Heuer and co.
The watch
I’ve talked enough about the past, so let’s have a look at the present. The watch before us is a derivative of the 43mm Navitimer B01, expectedly featuring subtle hints of British racing green. What I presume was the real challenge is making the Navitimer’s iconic but 70-year-old design work with the cutting-edge nature of today’s Formula 1. To do that, Buy replica Breitling watches chose the chopped carbon fibre dial with very subtle green mottling, setting it against a classic reverse panda colourway. There is no Aston Martin branding visible dialside, which is not something I mind, but I do wonder whether Breitling chose the AOPA logo on purpose, subtly hinting at the car brand’s winged badge.
For those who have had a chance to try on the 43mm Navi in person, you’ll know it’s not a small watch. Alongside the diameter, there’s also the 13.69mm thickness and 49.07mm lug-to-lug length, neither of which will play too nicely with smaller wrists. That said, this will also be the first Navitimer in titanium, ever, which is a pretty big deal for such a historically significant reference. It’ll take some bulk off the wrist, but also contributes to the avant-garde engineering feel consistent with Formula 1 racing. Not so sporty is the water-resistance, which is still stuck at 30 metres. Granted, there’s no danger of it being overly exposed in an open cockpit in a place like Spa, which feels like it gets perennial rain, but it is just a bit too low for a watch with such sporty intentions.
Apart from the green (and electric yellow) highlights hinting at the Aston Martin partnership, the only overt confirmation of it is visible on the winding rotor of the in-house B01 calibre. This tried-and-true performer is Breitling’s premier (see what I did there?) choice for its chronographs, offering a column wheel and vertical clutch architecture alongside a 70-hour power reserve.
